Anyone tried the AC refrigerant leak detector from ECUTools?
Has anyone here used the AC leak detector from ECUTools? Here’s the page I’m looking at: https://ecutools.eu/ We’re getting more cars with weak A/C, and using soap spray doesn’t always help, especially on slow leaks. Thinking about buying an electronic detector that beeps when it senses refrigerant. Does it actually find small leaks, or is it too sensitive and gives false alarms?

We’ve been using a similar detector for about a year. It picks up small leaks around fittings and condenser edges pretty well. You just need to move slowly and let the sensor settle—if you rush, that’s when it might beep randomly.
