The difference between "personal use" and "reposting" — where’s the line?
I saved a funny reel the other day just to show it to my brother when we met up, and that felt totally fine. But then I thought, what if I posted the same clip on my own feed, even with credit? Would that count as harmless sharing or crossing the line into reposting? I get confused about what’s considered private use versus putting someone else’s content back into circulation.

I’ve asked myself the same thing. I usually keep videos for personal reference, like cooking tutorials, and that feels safe. The line gets blurry when you upload it again for a wider audience. Even if you tag the original creator, it’s still redistributing their work. For saving privately, I use SnapInsta, since it just keeps the file on my device without making it public. My rule of thumb: if it leaves my phone and goes back online, it’s a repost.
